Punta Tombo Penguin Colony

Knowing the duration of the cruise stay, we organize the excursion to fit their schedules. This excursion begins at Luis Piedrabuena Pier where we will meet to travel 180 kilometers south to reach Punta Tombo. After paying the park entrance fee (not included in the excursion rate), we will start our adventure to explore one of the largest colonies of Magellanic penguins in the world. Punta Tombo offers visitors the unique opportunity to walk among hundreds of thousands of penguins in their natural habitat, observe their behavior, and admire their beauty up close. This excursion is ideal for nature and photography enthusiasts as it provides countless opportunities to capture stunning images of these adorable animals. The experience of being surrounded by wildlife and the natural beauty of the area makes this excursion truly unforgettable for visitors of all ages. In addition to penguins, Punta Tombo is home to a variety of seabirds and offers impressive coastal landscapes that will captivate you. Upon concluding the tour, we will return the journey back to the city of Puerto Madryn to drop you off at the pier entrance. Not included: entry fees/lunch.
